Error 303: Feelings no found

Food Stories: Restaurant Hoo Bee
30 April 2010 || 01:01

OMG! My bank consultant already gave me a double admonishment that I had no more money in the account now. I'm going be a begger soon! I hate it! Uh-huh, just take it easy.

Since we didn't feel satisfied our meal at Hing Ket Grilled House, so I suggested a second round. I drove through all the way from Kampung Jawa to Bukit Tinggi. Applause. My passengers didn't get heart attack and arrived there safety. My driving skill was pro, okay! HAHA.

This is one of my favourite restaurant at Bukit Tinggi. Hm, it has a lot of hawker stalls there, variety of choices. TANG TANG! Restaurant Hoo Bee. You might be think why recently I didn't step into any famous aka luxury restaurant. HAHA. I almost broke nowadays, so less luxury spending.

It's located at the center of Bukit Tinggi. I think. Ain't hard to find, it just near to Giant, Bukit Tinggi. During the lunch time, you will spot many office worker lunch at there. A night, people spend their dinner at there too! The taste of the food are equalled to the restaurant name, HOU MEI in cantonese, delicious in English, sedap in Malay. I mean some of them like Lou Xu Fan, Laksa and bla bla blah, because I haven't try all! XD

Mochi. it served with some shredded coconut and peanut. Just abit disappointed because the smell of shredded coconut was already covering the Mochi. Hm, I don't know the exact price, but it came with Tong Yun were around RM4.

Tong Yun. We eat glutinous rice balls during the Chap Goh Mei or Winter Solstice. However, this traditional dish is available at Klang and it is ain't easy to find at the capital city, KL.

There is a tinge spiciness from the ginger. The perfect size of Tong Yun served definitely soft yet chewy. And also we tried the famous-big-size Tong Yun, it was filling with peanut. When you bite, you will feel the flavour explode and make you can't stop of it! Beware, please don't bother the daughter-in-law's emo, always give you a LANSI-shit-face one! Sometimes, I feel like gonna slap her and give her a whack!
(PS, there has another branch at Restaurant Pin Chou, Port Klang, address: 112, Jalan Pekan Baru, Kawasan 17 off Jalan Meru, 41050 Klang.)

The owner of this stall should be lucky beside the Tong Yun stall. I spotted when I turned around. Sotong Kangkung (RM7). It was a simply side dish. The sauce tasted like CHU CHIONG FAN. Hey, I more favoured Kangkung Balacan than Sotong Kangkung. Maybe I couldn't accept it.

Fried chicken (around RM5 for two pieces, depends which you order). I never try oily dishes at night. So no comment of this chicken.

Restaurant Hoo Bee
Lorong Batu Nilam 10. From KL, just go towards Klang city centre on Federal Highway. Go past the bridge over the Klang River. After 1km, you will see a flyover in front. Follow the signboard that shows a Hospital cross symbol. You will turn left here. After about 2 km, you will see the Hospital on your right. Drive past 2 more traffic lights and you can see the signboard that directs you to Bukit Tinggi. You will keep right and go underneath a flyover. At the traffic light junction, turn right. The shophouses would be on your right. Head towards Tesco, the kopitiam is near there.

Food Stories: Hing Ket Grilled House
|| 00:29

The sky turned into dark, maybe overcast soon. Rain never came, but thunder never less. The weather was freakish nowadays. It made me confused whether gonna step out from my house or not.
My result was ASOLUTELY Y.E.S!!! I tagged my mother along to Kampung Jawa. There was funny thing happened.
" Kampung what what has food MEH?"
" It is called Kampung Jawa. On LAR! Last time I heard other blogger said one, the grilled house!"
Hing Ket Grilled House is famous around Kampung Jawa and in some food blogger world. But, it's not so publicity. I couldn't resist the temptation of some delicous food picture. So didn't bother how sucks was the weather. In the end, felt regret about it.

Kat Cai (RM2.50 per each)

Titbit (RM2.00) was served before the food coming. They charged you without permission. If you really don't want, maybe can ask them take it away. It was not worth.

The chilli sauce and another mint sauce for grilled lamb.

Fried Tong Fun aka glass noodle (RM12.00). The portion was enough for three person. I couldn't eat more because I'm allergy for prawn. It tasted only so-so. It was too wet and made it sticked together.

Grilled Lamb (RM8.00 for each slice). Please don't judge for its appearance. It tasted tender, chew able and juicy. Tasted different when you dip with the mint sauce. Awesome! I can say if compare with price, it was worth than last time I dined at TGIF.

Nyonya Fish aka Baked Asam Fish (RM15.00). The fish was not overcooked and served perfectly. "Not so spicy but you can feel a little bit the pandan leave playing with your tongue when you bite the fish!" This sentences was came out from my relative mouth. By the way, I think it will be taste more fantastic if the aluminium is cover when cooking.

Grilled Crab (RM36.00 for two). Out of my anticipation! This was the sucks crab I ever tasted. Hm, actually I didn't taste but my glutton relative complainted. I was not talking nonsense, I had a high sense in colour, okay?! Crab will lost its sweet taste when you're no good in cooking crab. Plus me, recently sticked with watching some cooking programme. So I already marked down some point. I couldn't describe how bad it was. It was just plain grilling and you almost choked with its bakar surface! It was over scorching! I suspected the chef just a tiro.

After paying the bill, I noted that the price was upside down. Not accurated also, I mean not same price with other customers. My relative said he will close down if he open at Pandamaran. HAHA.

Hing Ket Grilled House
Lot 3569, Batu 3 1/4, Kampung Jawa,
41100 Klang, Selangor.

It is located off the main road along Kampung Jawa, Klang.
1) If you come from Federal Highway, after toll, go straight. 1st viaduct, go up.
2) At roundabout, turn left. (condos in front).
3) When you reach traffic lights, take left. There’ll be shoplots on the left. Go straight.
4) At traffic lights, turn right.
5) You’ll come to a T-junction, turn left there.
6) Travel down that road, quite a distance.
7) Shop is on your right so you’ll have to keep a lookout (at a curvy part of the road).
8) This shop is sandwiched between a house and another shop.(the whole area is called Kampung Jawa)

Lover I don't have to love, but is hooked with friends!
27 April 2010 || 00:42

" J, let's go to watch Ice Kacang LOR!" M said when passed by J's working shop.

"Okay, no problem"

"When your off day?!"

" Thursday."

Lastly, we went to watch Ice Kacang Puppy Love on Monday, 26th April. It was the first time I hang out with my primary friends. I confessed I lost contact since I graduated from primary school. I just realised there had a different between government school and private school. Private school students less run back to the past, because we all only concentrate now and study, government school students take both into account then.

Okay, back to the topic. Another very first time I supported Malaysia movie. It was because "Ahniu" this name hold my attention. The story not bad, fully encourage you to watch!

In the early morning, PANG JOANNE PAO TIU WENKAI and me sing karaoke at Greenbox. You all must be know MAVIS LIM is a karaoke idiot, you will never seen she steps into those Redbox, Greenbox and Neway. I'm not phobia about singing. Just abit not-so-interesting. But I'm a super movie-phile! XD

PANG is a good singer!

Yucky-spaghetti.

Fried rice. I just noted that WENKAI almost ate two plates of it. WENKAI, you so TAM CHIA! HAHAHA

Afterall, we moved to Starbucks to had a chilling session before the movie started. I was cock-a-hoop about getting a drink at Starbucks. Finally. My mother always barred me when I gonna step into there. Starbucks is a bitch! It makes me falling deeply into it.
I ♥ STARBUCKS
My Ice Green Tea Cream (RM13.50). After paying at the counter, WENKAI just told me you will get 10% discount if you hold a Jusco member card! OMG! Damn it! I hate you!

It was the time be a paparzzi again!
Tallerman is tallerman.

PAO looks so serious. Take it easy, okay?!

HEHEHEHEHE :)

Laught laugh laugh, more.

She is smile!

It was another place we chilling after finishing the movie, Mill Wheel Ice Cafe.

Hey friend, no outside food allowed. HAHA.

She is waiting outside food. LOL, just kidding.

Finally, the ice was served.

Matcha Cheese (RM5.90)

Chocolate Snow Cheese (RM5.90)

Mango Snow (RM4.90)

A lovely last Monday of April. A warmful hangout day.

Food Stories: K3K Benta Kaya
26 April 2010 || 22:23

I had been seen enough of kopitiams around everywhere. Since last time I loitered at SS15, Subang Jaya and spotted K3K Restaurant and never have a chance to pay a visit. So now, this time another brunch open at Bukit Tinggi, Klang and we decided to check the place out.

It was a simply weekend dinner, MAKAN GANG as me, mother, sister and one of my relative headed there to give a hit! K3K, here I come!

Kopitiam since 1955, is it older than Old Town? Don't know, I don't have enough USA time to check their history! XP

One of page, see! Its cool drinks is colourful!

Please translate the chinese words into cantonese, MOU DET DENG!

Lack of sleep face, T I R E D

Uh, actually I don't know what is that. I didn't order it. Maybe next time! Because its size is huge and wondering what hide beneath its skin. HOHOHO...

Tengok! Itu staffs cakap banyak-banyak, tak ada kerja pun.

After around 10-15 minutes ( because that time was not crowded), the food was served. JENG JENG JENG! I noticed it when I turned to the cool drink page and the following second I asked mummy to order this. Not order for me, was for her because due to some reason. Grin.

Ribena Soda (RM7.80) tasted awesome! Although it just RIBENA + SODA! I love the bubble things too. Mummy said you will hear a "pop" sound you bite it.

A closed up picture. Bubble floats, float bubbles.

I confessed I miss my aunt-homemake-bak-guo-yi-mai-fucuk so much much. So, I order this Barlie Fucuk (RM3.00). Anyhow, I just wanted to say MY AUNT'S IS THE BEST!!!!! This one also not bad though.

Milky Noodle (RM8.80) disappoited us at all. I wouldn't bother to order this again.

Milky Coffee Shake (RM6.80) another DISAPPOIT-ER!

Lemon Honey Shake (RM5.80). I didn't taste and no complaint also.

A closed-up picture.

Potato Boat Coleslaw (RM4.50 for 2 pieces). I ♥ American style food! The potato skins sticked with the potato, salivating man! Can I order one more? HEHE.

I called it "baby size" Chicken chop with BBQ sauce (RM12.80). All in small portion.

See! The "baby" chicken chop. Sudah dalam perut pun tak ada rasa!!! (=.=)

Curry Chicken Rice (RM7.80) no commend.

This curry recall the experience when I dine with Sunshine Tay at GAO REN GUAN. I prefered that one freebie curry. [ Sunshine TAY, AMOI MISS YOU so badly! ]
